Last Hoorah!

Damn, I have seriously be sucking in blog dept. lately.  Its not for lack of content(well I guess my blog never really has any amazing content) I just haven't gotten used to this new schedule quite yet.  Today is one week on this new schedule.  It will take a little getting used to but I'm still so glad that I made the change.

So I saved a bunch a pics a while back ago to the blog and had every intention of writing a blog about how we spent the whole weekend with the kids as a family.  I'm really bummed about this whole noon to 9pm schedule so I wanted to spend my last full weekend soaking up as much time as I could as a family.  I forgot what I was all going to say but I'd still like to share the pics.

Willoughby Farm
We are so lucky this place is so close to our house.  The trails actually butt up to our back yard.  Its the cutest place.

8 Years!

8 years ago today, I married my best friend.  I know, EVERYBODY says that.  But i really mean it.  I met Brion the very 1st day of high school in homeroom.  We clicked right away.  By sophomore year we were inseparable .  We never dated in high school.  Not even almost.  He was just my best friend.  I could go to Brion for ANYTHING.  I dated his friends, he dated my sister(yes you read that right)  but we never did anything that like that.  Not for years!  So when I say that I married best friend I really did.

We are very lucky.  I am very grateful for him and everything he does for me.  In fact, on my break I had just now we shared steak, and potatoes and wine.  He has been taking care of the kids since he picked them up after his side job tonight and then cooked them and us dinner.  He is the freaking best!!!  I can't give him all the credit though.  My awesome mom stopped by last night with 2 steaks, some baking potatoes, a salad kit and a bottle of wine.  Which is a good thing because we dont really get into annivesaries and we were probably going to have taco bell.

Boogie helped make us brownies after school and keeps hugging me telling me he's proud of our eight years.

Life is good.

Ps.  I am not going to proof read this because my shift gets over in 1 minute and i want to go see my HUSBAND!

Is it too much to ask?

Is it too much to ask ...

  • To eat dinner in peace without someone asking if they can have something else for dinner, getting farted on, or get more than 2 bites down before someone needs something?

  • For us to get a Target so I can get the stuff that I need without driving 25 minutes or going Walmart? (aka Hell)

  • That if your name is Chonstani (yup) that you not get an attitude with me when I ask you how to spell it?

  • To be a size 4 again.  That seriously happened like for 3 weeks and I want to remember how that happened?

  • To never have to do laundry again? ( I freaking hate laundry)

  • For someone to give me free tampons for life?  When I think of all the money I spend on those suckers it really grinds my gears

  • For there to be real housewives on every night of the week?  I can NOT get enough of those bitches!

  • For there to be a wine delivery service ?(0 calorie while we're at it)

  • For there to be somewhere where I can get some real unbiased information on political issues?  I trust NO ONE

  • For us to win the lottery?  I dont need a lot.  Just enough so we can keep what we have now(maybe be able to afford to go out to eat like once a week), be able to stay at home, and have another baby.

I mean really?!?

My so called... hair

Hair.  Women are so funny about their hair.  Myself included.  My hair has finally got to where i've been wanting it.  LONG and blonde.

Ive really been loving my hair lately.  So you know what that means... Time to change it.  Us gals are so weird about that stuff.  I've been wanting to go dark for awhile now.  I've been dark before and I LOVE it.  My hair hates to be dark so I'm constantly dying it, so I dont do it very often.  I think its been about 4 years or so.  But, its been done...

long

and short

I warned the husband and kids that was going to get some color when I was out and about yesterday.  Boogie specifically requested RED so, I channeled my inner Angela Chase from " My so called life"

Drum Roll............

Ta da!

3 Boxes of color people.  My blonde did NOT want to turn read.  Plus I have a TON of hair.  There are still some light spots.

Sorry about the in the car pics.  I wanted some outside light.  I don't know how girls take in the car pics and look cute.  I've only taken one of those before that looked halfway decent and that was when i had a huge scar on my face.

If you dont remember this post you can find it here.
I know its not a practical color.  Thats the beauty of working from home.  Its fun.  So what do y'all think?  Be honest.  I would be if I was giving you my opinion.
