Today I am sad. Very sad. Today one of the sweetest, funniest , opinionated, brave, smart (and the list goes on and on) people lost his battle with Cancer. You may remember Fred from one of my older posts.

Or you may have known him personally. Regardless, Fred was awesome. I went to high school with Fred. We had some classes together. I loved Fred. He was a class clown and I was drawn to class clowns. We didnt hang out much outside of school. And until recently besides maybe the occasional hello around town , we really didnt talk. A while back we became friends on Facebook and I always enjoyed his post/comments. It wasnt until we both started blogging did I realize how great he was. We followed eachothers blogs, emailed back and forth, facebooked, and twittered(is that a word). I was really enjoying him.
Anyways, today Fred lost his fight. A fight that he should've won dammit! I'm so sad. Soooooooooooooo Sad. Then I got to thinking, if I'm this sad, how must his other friends feel. Friends that he was waaaaaaaay closer to than me. oh, and his family too. I can't help but get even sadder. So if anyone that knew Fred ,because to know him was to love (and be entertained by) him, is reading this my heart goes out to you.
I'm sure this is one rambling mess. Its hard to type with teared filled eyes. If you go back and read Fred's last blog, you'll see that one of his wishes was to spend his 30th birthday " playing craps and smoking a Cuban Cigar". Well Fred would have been 30 July 31st. Well I 'm not even sure what craps is, and I can't get a Cuban, but I will for sure be having a cigar that day in his honor.
Rest in Peace F-Man!
