Too much?

I'm not sure why I think the things I think.  Today I was thinking of how I say the same words over and over.  Its kind of annoying.  I really overuse words.  I was making a list all day in my head.  Not sure why I thought it would be a good blog, but too late now.

Here are the words I say way too much.

Fuck
Dude
Homie
Shit
Balls
Sweet
Awesome
Totally
Bonus
Like
Really
Vagina

Wow, reading this was a total waste of your time!  What am I a 14 year old boy from California stuck in the 90's?  Field trip Friday is tomorrow, so hopefully that will make for a better blog.

somebody more interesting than me

I love blogs.  If you read mine regularly, then you already know this.  I say it about every other blog entry.  Anyways, I don't feel super hot and am super tired and don't really have the energy for a blog tonight.  I thought this would be a great opportunity to introduce you to someone.  His name is Fred, and he is pretty awesome.  Don't take it from me, take it from him.  He has no problem telling you.

I had a few classes with him back in high school, but between facebook and reading his blog, I feel like I know him a lot better.  Take a look for yourself.  Follow along with him on his inspiring journey.  You will definitely laugh and think again before complaining about your everyday bullshit.

Hello? Who's there?

Happy Monday!  How are you?  I've been nauseous all day, but other than that, not too bad.  No I am not pregnant.  I hate that if you are a woman in your 20's or 30's and you say you're nauseous, you always get asked if you are pregnant.  Anyways some kind of bug has been going around in my house and I think I've got just a small hint of it.

Anyways, with all the sickness I haven't had a chance to blog as much as usual.  That made me curious.  I decided to look into it.  Do people still visit my page on a day I dont post? (yes, just not as many)  Is Facebook the only way people access my page? (no)  Who is reading my page?  Only my facebook friends? (no)

Blogger has this neat feature that shows all the stats of your page.  One of the stats is audience.  It keeps track of all different kinds of things.  2 things intrigued me.  One thing is that it shows how people access my page.  I would assume Facebook would be the only way people would know about me, but apparently there are some referring sites.  I guess the blogger website does that.  So hello to anyone who is reading this who I dont know personally.  Please feel free to leave me a comment or shoot me an email and introduce yourself.  I think it is exciting that anyone gives a rip about this little blog, especially people I've never met.

The other thing I thought was cool, was that it shows what different countries my audience is from.  This is the weird part.  It tells me that I have readers from, the US, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Russia, and India.  That can NOT be right.  I would maybe believe maybe the first few.  With people  in the military and all, it could make sense.  But, Russia, and India, WTF?  That can't be right.  How could that be true.  I was thinking maybe scammers scan blogs and try to find ways to rip people off.  I dont know.  If you are not from the US and you read by blog, I'd love to know who you are, how you heard about me, and what you think.

Even if the different country thing is not quite legit, my pageview count is like 100 times more than I ever thought it could be.  I hope you all like the blog.  Feel free to share with me if you have a blog.  I love reading blogs.

Thanks for reading!

My weekend in pictures

The kids have been super handfuls lately.  They've been fine if I can keep them busy, but as soon as we slow down Boogie is bouncing off the walls and Shelby Lynn is whining.  I did my best to keep them busy and I took tons of pictures.  Here is just a portion.  Hope you enjoy!

Shelby Lynn loves sidewalk chalk.  She even tries to eat it.

These 2 sat like this for a whole episode of Curious George.  I hope they stay this close FOREVER!

Its seems like Sunday's have turned into Place Place day

Shelby Lynn got in there for the 1st time today

This picture is equally gross and cute

Poor Shelby Lynn

The sky looked so cool

A few attempts at being artsy fartsy with an app on my phone

I can only have sweet dreams since I'm wearing this to bed

I hope all of you had a great weekend too.  Fingers crossed we all have a good Monday!

perfect little not so special Friday

So today was nothing special but was exactly what I needed.  Sometimes its the normal days when nothing special happens that are my favorite.

I got up fairly early for a day off.  730.  After a few moments for cuddling with the kiddos in bed, I got up and started cleaning right away.  I got 90% of my house cleaned and a few loads of laundry done before 10.  After forcing boogie to put on a pair of underwear (1st time in 2 days), we headed off to the grocery store.  We rushed back home just in time for an 1130 parent/teacher conf. for the boog.

There were no surprises there.  He's smart, funny, and can be annoyingly hyper.  Most importantly, ready for kindergarten.  But we can't talk about that.  I'm not ready for that.  I'm tearing up just talking about how I dont want to talk about it.

Anyways,  when we got home I put the kids down for naps.  They each took 3+ hour naps.  I LOVE that my kids are nappers.  I made the best mesquite chicken, pepper jack cheese, spinach, and peperoncini  sandwich EVER, and watched tons of  real housewives from the DVR.  Again, I love that those kids love to sleep.

After naps, we took a trip to the library.  We were on a mission to find Boogie a book to on how to make cartoons.  Thats what he wanted to do for field trip friday.  Learn how to make cartoons.   Heres a pic of Shelby Lynn in one of my fav outfits of hers.

I think this was the first time she really enjoyed herself there.  Boogie was being too shy for pictures.  He told me I'm only allowed to take videos of his dancing. (so expect another dance video blog soon).

When we got home,  I made meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn.  One of me and Boogie's favorite meals.  Then just hung out the rest of the evening.  We read his cartoon book
We are going to try for making them tomorrow, skyped with 2 of the kids aunts and they went to bed.

Waiting for Brion to get out of the shower so we can have some wine and watch Southland.  (are you watching that show?  If not, you are sooooo missing out!)

Anyways that was my day.  Not that any of you care.  But thats what I call a damn near perfect friday.  Productive, lazy, fun, and family all in one.  Doesn't get much better that that.  At least for me.  I'm sure some people would've slit their wrists by 2:00 out of sheer bordem.

Everyone Poops

So this post is a little silly and TMI but hear me out...

Have you ever heard of this book?

I'm sure that you have.  If you haven't you should read it.  I think some people should re-read it.  Earlier in the week it seemed like I was coming across almost nothing but assholes. This one lady on the phone at work, I wish I could've climbed through the phone and smacked her.  I wanted to tell her to calm the fuck down.  You're no better than me.  You make the poops just like I do.  Get over yourself and try to act like a decent human being to me.

Its oddly something I think about often.  I'm extremely shy and easily intimidated by other people.  (especially women my age)  I dont know why, but I am.  I try my best to hide it.   One thing that seems to help ( and make me laugh) is to remember that theres a good chance that the person that is intimidating me took a poop that day.  I know its silly but it works.  Its pretty much the same thing as picturing someone in their underwear, right?!?

Brion hasn't ever read my blog but I will sometimes run an idea by him.   The other day we were talking about this particular post and it turned into some weird game.  We must have been slap happy.  Oh wait, I think I may have had a few glasses of wine.  Anyways, I said something like. " Even George Clooney poops"  Then we went on to name different celebs and politicians, past and present and mentioned that they poop too.  It must have been the wine, but it was seriously cracking me up.  I think the Queen of England is the one that put me over the edge.

I can't believe I actually am going to post this.  I'm sure my readership will take a nose dive after this.  These are just the things I think :)

Sunday Sunday

I used to hate Sundays. I would spend the whole day dreading the next day.  Sometimes I would try to fit everything that I needed to get done before Monday all in, and not even get to enjoy the day off.  Or, I would do the opposite, I would be lazy all day and then come Sunday evening, freak out because nothing was ready for Monday.

I think I have finally learned to balance it out.  I love Sundays now.  Its the only day that I can get Brion to sleep in with me.  Most times all 4 of us are all piled into our bed before the morning is over.  Sunday is family day around here.  I'm not saying that Brion and I still don't try to get some of our chores done, but the day has an overall feeling of family.

Today Brion had some things to do in the garage for work, so I took the kids to the playplace for lunch.  The two of them had the whole place to themselves.  I watched to 2 of them just play and enjoy each other.

I've never seen a brother and sister love each other so much!  I'm just hoping it lasts.

We ended the afternoon in the back yard.  I sipped wine and watched the kids play and Brion grill.  Boogie was searching for golden rocks and lava rocks in the landscaping.  He apparently found one worth $300,743,812.  If only! Shelby Lynn sat and played with/ ate sidewalk chalk.

It really was everything that a Sunday should be. (at least for me)  I hope all of you had your perfect Sunday, whether it be religious, family, or Sunday funday.  I still have 2 hours left of my Sunday.  Heaven help us get through tomorrow!

If I had an extra $100 laying around...

I am super cheap.  I HATE spending money.  I sometimes get major anxiety about it.  Like re-use paper towels cheap.  I think I would be this way even if we had tons of money.

Anyways a friend of mine posted a picture on my Facebook page today that got me thinking.  What kind of things would I buy if I had an extra $100?  I have to spend it and I can't spend it on anything practical.  I have to spend it on myself.

Well 1st off, I would totally buy what my friend posted on my facebook page.

I mean, check out that sweet candle holder!

I would get this Tshirt and like a bunch of other ones just as offensive and politically incorrect.

I have like 2 bottles of nail polish.  It would be cool to buy every shade at the store.

This one is kind of a no brainer.
I need this scarf for winter.  I'll probably have enough cash afterwards to get you one...

I would totally wear these with the scarf

I came across these by mistake, but I would get some for the whole family.

I would finally get the tattoo I've been wanting on my finger.  (this isn't exactly it)

I'm going to do more research and find some more kick ass things to waste some money on.  Do you have any suggestions?

One exception

So I got to thinking...

There would be only one thing that could get me to change my mind about summer.  If I looked like Marisa Miller.  Thats because I couldnt hate anything if I looked like her.  I would pretty much walk around all day half naked while I giggled and skipped if I looked like this.

I mean just look at this ass.  I'm a happily married heterosexual woman and even I totally want to bang her.  I kind of want to bite it.

Urg, I'm totally not eating the rest of the day.  Well, until lunch. :)

I HATE summer. There, I said it!

It seriously has gone from winter to summer in  a matter of days.  I know its only March and it could still snow any day, but this shit is depressing.  I HATE summer(except for Cardinal Baseball).  I know I'm weird, but its true.  This sudden burst of 85 degree weather is really depressing me.  I can handle spring, but this is just a reminder that summer is around the corner.  Fall is my favorite. I really don't mind winter either.

I know most of you think I'm crazy, but hear me out...

-people stink in the summer
-I have to wear a friggin swimsuit.  I dont care how fat or skinny you are, 99% of women hate the way they look in a swimsuit
- Its too hot for me to wear a hoodie
- I hate wearing shorts. Its hard to find a decent pair of shorts in the stores.   I end up looking like a butchy lesbian or my vagina feels like its going to fall out
- I'm not a fan of sweating
- I hate stepping outside and not being able to breathe.

Ok end of rant!  Thats enough for now.  Its only March, but bring on September.

Good. Bad. TMI (tuesday edition)

Okie Dokie here we go...

The Good
-I made some kick ass hot ham and cheese sandwiches tonight.  Man, they really hit the spot
- I have 3/4 bottle of wine calling my name in the kitchen
- My windows are open, and its nice and cool in my house.
- I have very clean, strong smelling sheets on my bed
- The whole howard stern experience still has me on cloud nine
- I was able to take 2 naps over the weekend.  One was over 2 hours!!!!
- I came home from work and Brion had mopped the floors, emptied out the dishwasher, and clean my kitchen

The Bad
- I am behind at work and haven't been able to take a lunch while the weather has been nice
- I cant seem to lose these 7 pounds I want to lose. (i'm sure it has nothing to do with the 3 sloppy joes I had for dinner last night)
- I'm pale.  So pale that its almost like I'm green.  Its like my skin is transparent.  That mixed with the 7 pounds is really making me hate the way I look more than usual

The TMI
- Boogie can pretty much fart on command.  He loves to do it near Shelby Lynn.  She then makes farting noises with her mouth.
- My zits from the last Good, Bad, TMI post are gone and have been replaced with a giant planet on my forehead
-My dogs are super gay. They are constantly doing it.  We have a yorkie and a yellow lab, both male.  It really bothers me.

A little Monday pick-me-up

I promised a much shorter blog today, and I've kept my promise.

Mondays can me a little rough.  I watched this video this afternoon and it immediately gave me a boost I needed.

Enjoy!!!

AGT OMG!

1st off let me apologize for my last post.  I don't even remember finishing it.  I was so freaking tired.  I just re-read it and cant believe all the errors.  Oh well!

So Saturday was a pretty amazing day!  We got to the AGT taping at 9am.  Doors opened at 11am.  The line was wrapped around the building already.  I thought for sure we would end up high in the balcony.  We stood in line in the cold for about 1 hour and 45 minutes.  When we got in we were ushered into the lower section of the theater.  Brion and I were both so pumped. NO BALCONY!  Just as we were getting ready to sit in seats that were to the far left and about halfway down the length of the theater, a lady stopped us.

We were then told to walk down to the front of the theater, cross in front of the judges table and talk to Mike.  We did what we were told and headed towards the judges table.  It was so neat to be so close to where Howard was going to be sitting.  We found Mike who quickly became one of my favorite people on earth.  He looked us over and placed us in the front row.  Yes, front row.  He sat us down to these 2 cute girls. I have no idea why we were picked, but I didn't care.  We were seated on the Howie side of the judges.  I was 2 seats away from him.  We were less than 15 feet from where Howard Stern was going to be sitting.  Brion and I were freaking out.  I was afraid to breathe, I didnt want to jinx anything.

I never wanted a camera that bad in my entire life.  We were given a briefing on how for the next 6 hours we were only able to get up once to use the bathroom, how we had to jump up and clap or boo a lot, no gum, no eating or drinking, or we would be moved.

It was such an awesome day!  I dont know how much we will be on TV.  I actually hope not much.  They made us be so overly enthusiastic, I'm sure I looked like an idiot most of the time.

Howie was so funny and talked to us in the audience a lot. Sharon seemed nice but didnt talk to us.  Howard was awesome (duh) and when I told him I loved him, he answered back with " I love you too".  We didn't actually get to meet him, but we aren't complaining.

I did however get to meet someone sort of with the show.  If you are fans of Howard you will know who JD is. If you listen regularly, you will know JD's dad was going to the show.   Well below is a pic of me and JD's dad

Too funny!!!  I tweeted the pic to JD and Howard and JD re-tweeted it.  Again, if you aren't fans of the show, you wouldn't care in the slightest.  Brion got this picture of Nick Cannon.

Again, I freaking wish that cameras were allowed in the theater.  It was really an awesome day.  Brion and I got home about 730 and took about an hour nap before we got the kids back.

I feel like this is another rambling blog and said awesome about 100 times.  I'll try to make tomorrow's short and sweet!  Awesome!!!  (101)
